HOW TIME BLOCKING CAN UNLOCK YOUR PRODUCTIVITY POTENTIAL

When I first started a business 8(ish) years ago, I was desperate for more freedom + flexibility in my schedule. I remember sitting in my office at school and feeling like I had a seatbelt strapped across my chest that wouldn’t allow me to move. Fast forward a few years later when I finally was matching my teaching salary to quit, and I was feeling anything but free or flexible. Now, I already only work 4-5 hours a day (20-25 hours per week), but cutting that down to 4 hours per day, 4 days per week can take a major hit to how much I can get done during my work time every single day.

HOW TO MANAGE YOUR SCHEDULE + PRIORITIES TO TAKE TIME OFF THIS SUMMER

For those of you who might be new here, I used to be a middle school physical education teacher before I jumped into full-time entrepreneurship. And as you know, one of the best things about being a teacher is having those 8 weeks off in the summer. It was so nice to have a BREAK from work and enjoy some time with the family. As an entrepreneur, while I do have the flexibility of where + when I work, I can’t exactly take a full 8 weeks off over the summer because that would just be a disservice to my clients.
