July Goals + 30 Day Habit Challenge

I’ve really been slacking at writing about what’s ACTUALLY happening in my life. I used to blog about my daily life all the time - I mean, that’s how I started my blog. But, I’ve been so deep into personal development and growing a business (or 2 or 3) that I haven’t really given you many updates on what has actually been happening in MY life. So, let’s change that! As much as I LOVE giving you tangible tips that you can apply to your life, sometimes I know it’s nice to hear what other people are working on in their life too. (Because I truly believe we are ALL a little nosy… myself included.)Each month, I want to be sharing with you the goals I’m working toward (personal, business, and health) and the 30 day challenge I am doing this month. I would LOVE for you to join with me! Comment below what your goals are this month and what 1 habit you are changing in the next 30 days - let’s keep each other accountable!// JULY GOALSPersonal Goals:>> Write my affirmations 55 times, 5 days per week>> Finish at least 1 book this month (current read: Own Your Everyday by Jordan Lee Dooley)>> Start practicing the Miracle Morning (this will be my 30 day challenge next month)Business Goals:>> Write my affirmations 55 times, 5 days per week>> Help at least 5 people hit their first rank in the company and earn their first $500+>> Get everything ready to launch The Biz Runners group business mentorship program next month!Health Goals:>> Drink 3 liters of water daily>> Workout 30-60 minutes every day (notice I didn’t say run)>> Drink a #Fab4Smoothie everyday for 30 days (trying to figure out how to do this when we head down to Branson in a few weeks)// 30 DAY HABIT CHALLENGEFor the past few months, I’ve been picking one habit to change. It can be adding something in or taking something out. I heard this on Ed Mylett’s podcast a few months ago, but I really loved the concept of it and it has been a great challenge for me.Have I been 100% successful? Nope. But, that gave me more of a reason to start sharing more about what I’m doing each month and having YOU keep me accountable - and of course, I’ll return the favor as well! What I’ve done so far…>> March: no desserts>> April: ummmmmm… I don’t think I did anything this month>> May: drink half my body weight in water>> June: no snoozeThis month, I am challenging myself to drinking a #Fab4Smoothie everyday for the next 30 days. About this time last year, I read Kelly LeVeque’s book Body Love and it was EXACTLY my thought process around food + nutrition. For the past few years, I’ve been practicing Intermittent Fasting, but here’s what I’ve noticed…By 10:30 (if not before), I am STARVING. I workout first thing in the morning (5AM) and going until 11:30 or 12 without eating… well, probably not the smartest idea. I really liked IF because it helped me overcome my HANGRY issues (low blood sugar + me are not friends). But, when I would do it, I couldn’t stay on track with my nutrition and would grab the most convenient thing in our house…EMPTY CALORIES.But, I’ve noticed that if I eat breakfast in the morning (typically between 8AM + 9AM), I’m not hungry for hours. So, when lunch time comes around, I make better decisions and am not grabbing junk at the end of the day to fill the hunger in my tummy. If you’re not familiar with the #Fab4Smoothie, here’s what’s included…PROTEINFATFIBERGREENSIt’s a pretty simple formula that gives you SO many options of how to make your smoothie (or breakfast… it doesn’t HAVE to be a smoothie). I’ll be honest, I probably need more fiber in mine, but I will say that I am pretty regular at this point (which is something I could not say this time last year… even WITH coffee). My smoothie typically consists of…>> ½ banana>> 2 scoops protein powder (I use Orgain Chocolate)>> 1-2 tablespoons peanut butter (my favorite is PB + Co. because it’s tree nut free)>> 1 cup milk (I use organic 2%)>> 1-2 handfuls of spinach>> A few ice cubesSo far, so good - a week in + I’m sticking to it! Now I gotta figure out how to keep up with this when we head down to Branson in a few weeks. And now that I know I’ll be heading to Cancun (for FREE) in November, even more incentive for me to keep up with this lifestyle!I’d love to know…What are your goals this month + what habit are you going to try to change the next 30 days?
