Like, if we’re not busy, what are we actually doing with our lives?! Believe me, I am 100% guilty of this as well. Read MoreEvery year during the 40+ days of Lent, I try to “sacrifice” something. Over the years, it tends to be food related, giving up things like chocolate, all sugar, or just eating after dinner time. But, as I’ve learned more + more about the Bible (you can check out the Bible reading plan I did last year here), I’ve come to find that my sacrifices like chocolate, sugar, and desserts is more for ME than it is a reminder of what this time of year is supposed to mean for Christians.

Read MoreI’ll be honest with you… Boundaries can be REALLY hard for me. Of course, my biz bestie and clients might say otherwise, but there’s something they don’t know about the boundaries I set for myself… There is a fine line between boundaries and avoidance. As an Enneagram 9, I like to “keep the peace.” So, when things start to blow up in my face, or I start to get overwhelmed, or I feel some sort of conflict coming up, I will put up a GIANT wall.

And let me tell you, I learned A LOT. I’ve made several changes when it comes to my calendar, schedule, routines, and boundaries this year, but the good news is all the changes I’ve made has gotten me closer to the person I want to become.

Read MoreWhen I first started my business, I had one goal… To get my time back. At the time, I was working 40+ hours a week as a Physical Education + Health teacher, I was coaching (which added an extra 10+ hours per week to my schedule), and I had an hour round trip commute every day.
