one of those weeks...

You know those weeks I'm talking about.  The ones where you know right away are not going to be great and are going to drag on forever.  Yup, that was my week last week.First, Miles ended up with croup Sunday night, causing me to be up with him for a good 2.5 hours in the middle of the night.  Thankfully, I took a sick day to take him to the doctor, but I did not get a chance to catch up on sleep at all.  Then, Matt was out of town for work Thursday through Saturday, which just meant the week was going to last even longer.  I kept feeling like Thursday was Friday, so I ended up extremely disappointed come Friday morning.  On top of it, I just felt in a funk all week.  Ugh.  Too many things to do and definitely not enough time to do it.IMG_2955

You'd never know this kiddo didn't feel well...

But, the weekend made up for it a little bit.  I'm still not caught up on sleep from last week, but it was nice to have Matt back home and to spend some time with the kiddos.  It was definitely a relaxing weekend for the most part, which was much, much needed before the chaos of the holidays officially begins next weekend.Because it was a long, busy week, my workouts definitely suffered.  And like I said, I wasn't just mentally in a funk, my body was all jacked up too.  My wrist has been killing me from holding Miles for 2.5 hours in the middle of the night, plus all of a sudden my left hip started bothering me, and then the stress caused some major neck pain, which of course leads to headaches.  So, yeah, not my best week for running.  And this one won't be much better in terms of time. But, it is what it is.  I'm not training for anything and know that I need the time off as needed more than anything right now.  A few missed workouts are not going to kill me, even if I may feel like it at the time.  I'm going to do my best to try to get all my runs in this week, but if I don't, it won't be the end of the world, right?!Monday:  No run due to being home with MilesPushups 100xSitups 100xSquats 100xTuesday:  45 minute easy run (5.56 miles @ 8:06/mile pace)AMRAP in 12 minutes:Snatch 3x, 45#Cleans 6x, 45#Inverted Row 9xJump Rope 216xIMG_2959Wednesday:  15 minute easy run (2 miles @ 7:29/mile pace)Thursday:  20 minute easy run (2.57 miles @ 7:47/mile pace)3 rounds:Deadlifts 16x, 65#Hang Clean 16x, 65#Push Press 16x, 20# dumbbellsRun 800mIMG_2963Friday:  OFFSaturday:  OFFSunday:  45-60 minute long run (6 miles @ 8:14/mile pace)Total:  17.63 miles (including 1.5 miles from Thursday's WOD)Last full week of work before a short week before Thanksgiving!  Wish it wasn't going to be so darn busy before then...
