MASTERING WORK-LIFE BALANCE: A PRODUCTIVITY GIFT GUIDE FOR FEMALE ENTREPRENEURS
One thing no one could’ve prepared me for as I stepped into full-time entrepreneurship 6 years ago was that this once uber-productive mama would struggle with getting things done and being present with her family at the end of the day.
I’ve always been the “go-to” person for my friends + family when it comes to productivity. I would get asked frequently how I had the time to fit certain things into my day if I could help them plan for something, or what systems I used for different aspects of both my life + business.
So, when I struggled with productivity early on in my entrepreneurial journey, I knew I needed to rely on the things that had always helped me in the past: resources + tools.
Here’s one thing that I know about being an entrepreneur… sometimes your currency is time, not money, and if I can spend money to help me be more efficient + productive, then it is worth the investment.
And since we’re starting the holiday season, I wanted to share some of the things that I SWEAR by that help me better balance both my life + business.

HIRING A BUSINESS COACH FOR ACCOUNTABILITY
This is the one investment I will NEVER be without because it has helped me not only start my business from the very beginning, but grow it over the years.
When I first decided to pursue business, I had NO IDEA what I was doing, so I needed someone to help me create it from the ground up. And luckily, I had that mentor in my life to help me do just that. I owe her a lot for where I am today, even if she isn’t my business coach anymore.
I’ve gone periods of time without having a coach, and what I found was that my business stayed at a standstill. I need the accountability; I need the feedback; I need the expertise; I need the support.
A business coach (or whatever kind of coach you need – I’ve had mindset coaches, running coaches, and business coaches in the past, and they were all for different reasons and have been a tremendous help!

I’ve been using ConverKit for several years now and I still highly recommend it. Teachable
When it came to creating Control Your Calendar, I knew I wanted to house it somewhere. I researched several different course platforms and ultimately landed on Teachable. I always look for 2 things: does it do what I want it to do, and is it easy to use. I know that it might not be the most robust platform out there, but it answered those 2 questions and was one of the most affordable options. Will I stay there forever? Zapier
This is probably one of my absolutely favorite products because it creates the workflows for me! I love that I can hook pretty much any platform up to it and have it automated.
