There are less than 2 weeks left before my kiddos head back to school for 4th and 7th grade. I honestly cannot believe that in 2 short years, I'll have one in high school and the other in middle school.

But, I don't want to get too far ahead of myself because this school year hasn't even started yet.

And while I've enjoyed the last 81 days of not having to pack a lunch for my kids, I always look forward to a "fresh start" that the new school year brings.

The summer is a lot more relaxed in our household with all 4 of us home (since the husband is in the education world), which means I want to start thinking about our morning and afterschool routines to set our schoolyear up for success on a regular basis.

Because I know that without a solid routine in place (especially that morning routine for me), I'll start feeling overwhelmed and fall behind on everything that needs to get done around the house.

On today's episode, I'm sharing 3 steps I take when I am planning ANY new routine, but especially those daily routines that are so crucial for the success of our days. Plus, I take you behind the scenes on what my actual morning routine looks like.
