old school blogging
Anyone else remember when these little survey things went around in emails? I always loved filling them out and reading other people’s answer, so when my STL blogger buddy Katie tagged me in this one, I was happy to take it old school again.
A. Attached or Single? Attached! I’ve been with Matt for 11.5 years now and married for almost 6 of those years. Crazy to think we’ve been married longer than we dated now! It has flown by!
B. Best Friend? Matt + my mom take the top spots, but my 2 childhood friends, Kristin + Julie, are my total BFFs. Always have been, always will be!
C. Cake or Pie? Ice cream?! I prefer cake over pie, but definitely ice cream
D. Day of choice? Friday. Friday is pizza + beer night and pretty much the only night of the week where I absolutely have NOTHING to do.
E. Essential Item? Sunglasses and headbands. Very rarely do you find me without either of those. Well, sunglasses outside only. I’m not that “cool”.
F. Favorite Color? Purple all the way.
G. Gummy Bear or Worms? Ice cream?! Ice cream flavored gummies… is there such a thing?!
I. Favorite Indulgence? ICE CREAM! And beer, pizza, and M&M’s.
J. January or July? I would much rather be cold than hot, but I like my time off in the summer! Plus, July is our wedding anniversary month.
K. Kids? My beautiful little MacKenna!
L. Life isn't complete without? My family (extended – in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.) and running.
M. Marriage Date: 7-7-07 – we had a “Luckiest” theme for our reception :)
N. Number of Bros and Sis: I have one older brother – he’s awesome!
O.Oranges or Apples: Apples, although oranges don’t hurt my stomach like apples do.
P. Phobias? Falling, balloons (or loud, sudden popping noises), spiders/bugs, and I recently realized I’m scared to death of snakes as well.
R. Reason to smile: Summer, volleyball, running (and PRs!), and of course, my wonderful family.
S. Season of choice: Fall. It’s my birthday season and the season of the best running weather!

U. Unknown fact about me: At one time in my life, I can’t believe I’m even admitting this, but I was a cheerleader! I quit after my freshman year of high school because it interfered with volleyball and basketball seasons. Best decision I ever made. (Not trying to knock cheerleaders, but it soooo was not for me.)
V. Vegetable: Tomatoes and avocado. I know they’re fruit, but I am absolutely addicted to both of them right now!
W. Worst habit: I absolutely CANNOT multitask but I try to all the time. Matt will try to have a conversation with me and I’ll be busy doing something else and it’s simply in one ear and out the other. It’s a really terrible habit that I’m trying to break, but it’s really hard because I like to be busy doing something all the time.
X. Xray or ultrasound: Ultrasound. Looking at MacKenna’s anatomy scan from 2 years ago, you can totally tell it’s the same baby! Plus, I’ve had ultrasound for tendonitis before and it healed me extremely quickly!
Y. Your favorite Food: ICE CREAM! Somehow, this is the answer to everything. And my other indulgences: beer, pizza, and M&M’s.
Z. Zodiac sign: Libra – which means I can’t make decisions. Can you tell?
