2018 Gift Guide for Badass Women

I was recently asked if I was going to do a little “round up” of all my recommendations for everything you need as a BADASS women, whether you are a SAHM, a runner, or a business owner. I did my first gift guide last year for runners specifically, but this year, I’m not only going to be including my favorite stuff to give the runner in your life (or maybe that’s YOU!), but also for the woman who is working hard to achieve some big goals in 2019.I’ve divided this guide into categories for Fitness, Family, Goals, and Self-Care and I’ve included pretty much EVERYTHING that has either been helping me this past year, or something that is on my own wish list for Christmas this year (hint, hint Husband).

FITNESS

RUN Apparel from Sarah Marie Design Studio: Sarah Marie just came out with some BRAND NEW apparel for runners that I am absolutely OBSESSED with. I recently splurged with some leftover gift cards from my birthday and got this RUN trucker hat and it’s my new favorite. But, I’m also eyeing the t-shirt + sweatshirt soon too! But, really, you can’t go wrong with her graphic tees + sweatshirts!OrangeTheory Classes: I’ve been watching my IG friends going to OrangeTheory for over a year now, and I’ve just been interested in seeing exactly what it was all about. I mean, I understood the point of the classes, but you don’t really know what it’s like until you try it. Well, I learned really quickly that I still NEED someone to push me in my life after my first class. A monthly membership (they range from one class per week to unlimited classes per month) would make a great gift for any runner during this winter season of training. And, there’s no contract so you can cancel at anytime!

FAMILY

Family Movie Nights: So, this is pretty much free, but you might want to go out and buy all your favorite movies from your childhood (Home Alone, Toy Story, Aladdin, etc.) or any new movies you haven’t seen to watch with your kiddos. We make this a weekly date. The hubby makes pizza and we all have a picnic on the living room floor and watch a movie together. No one is on a phone or ipad, and we just spend some good family time together. The kids will fight the movie we watch every once in awhile, but once they start watching, they really, really love it! It’s absolutely my favorite night of the week - and it’s pretty inexpensive too (we use the Redbox app on our Roku to rent movies on demand or borrow movies from the library)! There’s a Moose in the House: We LOVE playing games and this one is one of our favorites! I’d much rather play a card game than a board game anyday. We LOVE this game - and it’s quick + easy for even a toddler to play (although we usually do a team with him). Have fun with this one!

GOALS

The Day Designer Flagship Planner: I’ve been using this for a year now and it’s the BEST planner I’ve EVER owned! I absolutely love it! It’s helped me stay organized and productive every single day. And I can keep almost EVERYTHING in one spot, which is even better! I’ll be doing a Planning Party in early January, so make sure you are on my list to be in the know for when that is happening! And if you don’t want to spend $$$ on a planner, I have my own daily planning pages you can grab for FREE!Start Today Journal: If you don’t know, I am slightly OBSESSED with all things Rachel Hollis. My 6 degrees of separation is that she is from Bakersfield, CA where my brother now lives. I mean, we’re practically BFFs, right?! But, as much as I LOVE my planner, I’m also a big journaler. This one has been on my radar since she launched it and I can’t wait to actually have my own! Of course, she just read exactly what she does on her podcast recently, so again, if you can’t afford it, you can pull out a notebook and get journaling!High Performance Habits by Brendon Burchard: Hands down the best book I read this year. Want to do GREAT things in your life? This is the book that will help you get there. I’m making it a point to read it again in January every year as a refresher. And guess what?! You can get it for “free” (I mean, you have to pay shipping, but it’s a pretty big discount from paying for it full price)!

SELF-CARE

Beautycounter No. 3 Balancing Facial Mask: So, I’m OBSESSED with charcoal + masks. I’ve tried a lot of charcoal masks, but this one is hands down my favorite. Plus, it’s all natural to boot! My girl Kelli can hook you up…MONAT Restructuring Collection: Got damaged hair from styling or coloring? THIS is what you NEED. My hair has never really been damaged, but let me tell you, 2 months after I got my haircut AND colored, and my hair still looks like it’s been freshly cut. This collection of products is non-toxic, plant-based keratin treatment that restructures your hair from the inside out. Plus, the masque is LIFE. It’s my favorite for self-care Wednesdays or Saturdays! My Soul CBD: I learned about CBD this summer and was immediately interested. I’ve been medicated for depression + anxiety for 2.5 years and as much as I would LOVE to not be on medicine, it’s just not possible. However, after I started taking CBD oil a few months ago, my anxiety has been a lot better. I also started using some CBD lotion for inflammation that has helped me recover faster from my workouts. I’m a believer!

What are you FAVORITES this year that you would LOVE to gift to other people?!
